I had the luck ( and skill) to qualify for one of the legs for the ANZPT last year on Poker Stars and it was a once in a lifetime trip I won’t forget in a hurry.I won through to the Auckland leg, which has been replaced this year by a New Zealand leg in Queenstown, and if you can win a seat to this tournament, I can highly recommend it.
New Zealand is an awesome country, wioth loads to do whatever your hobbies.Whether it’s watersports, skiing, drinking, rock climbing or hiking that floats your boat you can do it all in NZ. If it’s Poker, there is plenty of that as well.
New Zealanders are still celebrating their first ever WSOP bracelet as well, which was won by Simon Watt, so the interest in poker will be at a high at the moment. This will mean lots of new players, or fish as they might be more commonly known.
The AZNPT visits Queenstown for it’s only NZ stop off between July 17th and 25th 2010and there should be a few packages available on Poker Stars before then. Poker Stars is the largest poker site and offers many different satellites for a whole host of destinations. if you click through using this link, you can also qualify for a great $600 bonus when you first sign up.
