World Series Of Poker List Of Winners

The World Series of Poker 2010 is nearly half way through in Las Vegas and we have already seen millions of dollars won in prize money. Some of the biggest names in Poker have already got their hands on a coveted bracelet as well.

With nearly 30 Events finished or in progress this has been an interesting year so far. Already clutching a bracelet are 3 British players, Praz Bansi, James Dempsey and Richard Ashby.

New Zealand, meanwhile are celebrating their first ever WSOP bracelet after Simon Watt defeated favourite Tom Dwan heads up to win Event 11 -$1500 No-Limit Hold em.

Some more famous names are also getting in on the act too, with players such as Men Nguyen, Sammy Farha and Michael Mizrachi taking down some big tourneys. It’s great to see Men and Sammy win especially, as it shows that age is no obstacle to poker success. Sometimes looking at a final table I feel old at 35, so it’s always nice to see someone older taking it down.

it’s still not to late to qualify for the WSOP Main Event – Check out our earlier post for more details.
